Introduction About TAXIM O 200MG TABLET

Taxim-O is used to manage bacterial infections of the ear, nose, throat, sinus, respiratory tract (bronchus, lungs), urinary tract, biliary tract, and genital tract. It can also be used in the management of typhoid fever.

It contains a medicine called Cefixime, which belongs to the group of medicines called Antibiotics. It works by stopping the growth of bacteria by interfering with the synthesis of the bacterial cell wall and eventually killing the bacteria.

Take Taxim-O for the stipulated duration instructed by your doctor even if you feel better during the midway of the therapy to achieve better results. Failing to complete the full course of the therapy or skipping doses in between the therapy may not result in adequate infection control.

Taxim-O is suitable for use both in adults and in children aged 10 years or older. However, consult your doctor for advice before taking it.

Before taking Taxim-O, inform your doctor if you have any stomach problems or kidney problems. You must also inform your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding before taking Taxim-O as a precaution.

The most common side effects of taking Taxim-O are nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea, stomach pain, and bloating. Inform your doctor if they trouble you.
